Hi Experts,

SAP Business One

We are upgrading our system to B11000SP_2411. We are preparing a new system with Windows Server 2022 and SQL Server 2022/2019 Express. But we are getting SLD error when installing the server tools. We are using 3rd party pfx ssl file that is working in the older sap versions.

In the "B1WinInstaller_202501051428.log" log file we have this error

--------------------------------------

[14:37:06][ FINEST] [OUTPUT2] SldInstallerTool execution failed
[14:37:06][ FINEST] [OUTPUT2] @{exitcode=0; stdout=false&RegisterAdminClient error: {"error" : {"code" : "16000", "message" : {"lang" : "en-US", "value" : "System Error: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target executing POST https://quaint.arynitsap.com:40020/auth/realms/master/protocol/openid-connect/token"}}}; stderr=}
[14:37:06][ FINEST] [OUTPUT2] At C:\Users\vinay\AppData\Local\Temp\B1-KZVFvffWXpipghUolVFR\Installation Directory\SAP Business One SetupFiles\support\bin\WizardUtils_tools.ps1:263 char:9
[14:37:06][ FINEST] [OUTPUT2] + throw "SldInstallerTool execution failed`n$result"

Hi vinayhatwal

It seems that b1CA.cer is missing in the trusted root certification authorities. Please refer to SAP KBA 3537539 - SAP Business One requires a valid SSL certificate, Step 4

4. Keep the b1CA.key and b1server.key files safely stored and private.

        Distribute b1CA.cer to all servers, computers and mobile devices across your environment.

        In Windows environment, install the certificate to "Trusted Root Certification Authorities\Certificates".

Kind Regards
Nidhi Singh
