SAP Build Process Automation not reading PDF

Hello,

I have a PDF which is created from AutoCAD software drawing. It's .dwg to .pdf converted file. I tried to extract text out of it but it's not reading text all the time. Sometimes it works for some documents. I am using activity from document information extraction.

We tried to remove Layers, comments, links, bookmarks from the .dwg and converted to PDF but it's not reading. It misses some part of texts. We also tried converting it to .jpg to use OCR activity but still it's not working.

Appreciate any help in this line.

manuel.zeise we have changed original drawing settings (.dwg) from A3 paper size to A2 (expanded more) and we have got the results. Closing the issue from my end. Thanks for your support too.

manuel.zeise I already did and received answer as "it's product limitation". So I am reaching out to the community help here for any alternate answer.

For support ticket: I have already attached documents in supporting ticket. I am still waiting to resolve the issue. It has been a long time. I can provide support ticket number if you want.

Hi Prasad
You can try with Open Document(Online OCR) which is more effective to extract the document.

If you are not the required output, you have to go Google Document AI , to extract the content effectively.

I tried OCR but it's missing out many parts of texts. So not useful.

I tried to upload document in Google Document AI website for testing and that is also missing out some text.
