SAP BTP : SAP Business Application Studio - Dev Space stuck in "STOPPING" status

Hi,

I was developing on SAP BAS until my dev space was no longer accessible (timeout). So I tried to stop my dev space and it is now stuck in "STOPPING" status. I was able to create / start / stop another space, but the original one does not change status. I can't use the new one because I have two days of un-push developments on github. How can I restart it without losing data please?

Hi there

My Dev Space is also stuck in the "stopping" mode for more than 2 hours right now.
Before that, I had a lot of problems and thought that restarting the Dev Space would solve the problems.

My work from today was also not committed because of the sudden problems. I usually commit my code at the end of the day but who would have expected this. And of course this mode doesn't allow downloading the Dev Space anymore... i hope for the best.

My Dev Space did eventually stopped. Now that it's up and running again I have some blank files from before everything started to act weird, Seems it didn't save or sync when everything stopped working. Also another problem, running projects are giving this errors now. Seems that it's not fully working at the moment. I will give it tomorow another go.

For information, I lost a file (totally blank) aswell. Otherwise it's working now. I could restore my blank file with github (there was not a lot of updates to develop a second time).

Fabian I hope you will find a way to repair your dev environment.

This issue keeps happening, yet there is NO ANSWER from the team (if any?) maintaining this thing.

Somebody, please, just reply with a solution on this thing, it's becoming frustrating!

that is way sap is bad, first experience with them and it is already extremly bad

It also happened to me and I'm still stuck up till now even after I left it for few hours

I am having same issue. Yesterday, I closed browser without stopping dev space. Today it is showing "STOPPING". I have been waiting for last 5 hours. Have you guys find any solution for this issue?

I have the exact same issue today, since the morning it stuck while I was creating a file, and since, I tried to restart or stop, then it is in "STOPPING" status, I don't know what to do.

Is there a command to access it and force to reboot?

same problem with me, wanted to create a file and it just froze and i went out, came back the dev space is stuck
