Hello Experts,

We have downloaded cloud connector and now while adding BTP subaccount and datasphere sub account to Cloud connector we are getting the following error: "Obtaining sub account certificate failed. See log and trace files and in particular scc_core.trc for details. Note is given 2460641. Could you let us know what are the pre-requisites for this activity?  Could not getting anything specific from the note.

Hi @yashparikh
I had same error, and all the network and firewall were correct. The issue was in the connection to the subaccount, I installed a valid signed certificate in my SCC and then connections to my subaccounts are working.

I was out of the office on leave on June 27. I do not remember making this comment. I will change my SAP support password.

Hi @AravindhChandrasekaran, I explain how to in my blog https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blog-posts-by-members/how-to-run-sap-cloud-connector-on-maco... this is using Integration Suite to create a valid-signed certificate, but you could also request a valid certificate from your organization. Hope it helps. Regards 🖖🏻,

Hi,

Thank you for the response.

I tried uploading the signed certificate from Integration Suite, but it still throws the same error mentioned by @yashparikh. I noticed that SCC version 2.18 produces the same error in the x86 Windows .msi artifact. However, this issue does not occur with SCC version 2.16 on x86 Windows.

Unfortunately, version 2.16 is not available for macOS (portable aarch64). I’m able to successfully connect to the BTP Subaccount directly from the system terminal using the Integration Suite certificate, but not via the 2.18 SCC aarch64 version.

Best Regards,

AC
