SAP BTP ANS - Is WSDL webservice supported in actions?

Hello - I have a webservice using WSDL SOAP. Can i setup an action in SAP BTP Alert Notification System to call this webservice?

Hi SandeepRenuka,

Although we have never tried it, on theory you should be able to call your SOAP service by using webhook actions
However keep in mind the following:
1. Only "No authentication", "Basic Authentication" and "OAuth authentication" is supported
2. You will probably need to utilize "Payload Template" field to build your XML payload from the event
3. You will probably need to specify "Headers" field to "content-type: application/xml".

Please try to setup the webhook action to your SOAP service and update this question with the results. If you encounter any problems we can try to help further.

Thanks. My payloads XML characters are more than what is currently expected by the payload template field. It says 300 characters over limit. I dont see any way to reduce my payload. Can we increase the limit? Or other options?
