SAP BODS RFC/BAPI Approach.

Hi Experts,

We want to load data from Legacy to SAP S/4 and for ETL we are using BODS. Wanted to know the if developing a custom Wrapper RFC in S4 and getting it consumed in BODS is a good/recommended/best practice(Considering all aspects of performance/network load) approach than having the data put in application server of S4 and developing a program to read and post.

Please check the supplement for SAP - there is built in RFC server for Data Services for connectivity to SAP systems. No need to create a custom wrapper RFC.
