SAP BODS Connectivity with BW on Cloud

Hi All - Our client is migrating their BW system from on-premise to cloud, can we connect to BW on cloud from SAP BODS (on premise) directly with updating the existing Datastore config ?

Based on my knowledge, BW doesn't have on cloud version. What do you mean by BW on cloud? Is it Datasphere or Data Warehouse Cloud? Or BW/4HANA?

We are moving BW from on-prem servers to cloud services

BW on cloud? there is no such thing. Are you taking about SAP Data Warehouse Cloud or DataSphere

I assum your BW will still the same BW as before. But its server machine is moved to a cloud platform. BW server host name/IP may be changed. If this is the case, you can just update new BW server host name in existing BW datastore. Make sure new BW server can communicate with DS Server.
