SAP BODS COMP3 fields

Hello,

In our current project we have a requirement to load COMP3 fields using BODS. COMP3 fields are not properly displayed in .txt files. We are trying to use Cobol copy book format to load the data.

We also tried to convert the .txt file to .cpy file. All fields expect COMP3 is getting loaded correctly. Has any one worked on loaded COMP3 fields using SAP BODS. 

What should be the input file format? We are getting the input file from a external agency. What type of file we should ask them to provide us. Any help on how to load COMP3 fields using BODS will be of great help.

Cobol copybook may be the option. COMP3 will be converted into decimal in DS. Check your Cobol copy book format. Make sure the column(COMP3 original) is set as decimal with correct precison correctly.
