Hello,
In ASE 16.x
A couple of question regarding SAP ASE money data type:
-As is an abstract data type , is it based on a float /real (data type) ?
-When migrating from HP-UX to Linux, is it advisable to previously convert it to a precision data type like numeric(m,n) / decimal(m,n)
Thank you
Regards
Jose
Request clarification before answering.
Money datatype is based on Decimal/Numeric. Like those, it is an exact/precision datatype, not an approximate datatype such as float/real.
