alexander.bundschuh In one of your blogs its mentioned that for pre delivered interfaces , AIF interface variants can be created . Can you please elaborate on the steps , as i try to create a custom namespace for interface variant for pre- delivered interface Material document request create (/MMIM). I get a warning message " Potentially unlicensed usage of AIF; Use of AIF restricted ".

1. Is it fine to create a custom namespace entry and create the interface variant for pre-delivered AIF interface ? Does it need license or would it activate trail license?

2. Can we make the fields editable in sap delivered AIF interfaces ? So users can make changes to data and reprocess the message.

3. If std. SOAP API with related AIF interface is extended with custom fields using extensibility, will the fields also reflect in AIF interface field mapping level, can we do any conversions or checks using interface variant to the std AIF interface?

4. Do we have any example blog with relevant features that can be used in case of std AIF interface? If so , please let me know the reference blog.

5. Can we send messages in error as email or integrate with other ticketing systems? If yes, pls guide

All the above are questions specific to std AIF pre delivered interfaces, S/4 HANA ON-PREMISE
