SAP Analytics Cloud mobile app: Gmeet or MS Teams screen sharing not allowed

Hi experts,

I need to present a dashboard by sharing the screen of my mobile from a Google Meet or MS Teams call.

However, the screen is blackened when accessing the SAC mobile application.

I tried presenting using 'device preview' functionality but the experience is not the same.

It is also not possible to take screenshots of the dashboard for data privacy reasons.

Do you know if it is necessary to modify some settings?

Works without problems for me with Teams on an iPhone.

Have you tried to mirror the screen of your mobile device to your laptop and join a Google Meet of MS Teams meeting?

I tried to project the screen of my Android smartphone to the Windows 10 laptop using respectively Smart View and Connect apps but unfortunately the result is the same, when I access the SAC mobile app the screen is blackened..

Hi John,

I recalled I have read something on this topic before. There is an SAP KBA that clarifies that taking a screenshot is disabled in the app on Android due to security reasons. Not sure what those reasons would be because you can do the same on an iPhone. Here is the link:

Don't see anything mentioned on the roadmap for SAC and Android. Perhaps you can check if there is already an improvement request submitted. If not you can create one via the Customer Influence program.

Can it be easier in your scenario to go an alternative way and embed SAC content in Teams tab for access by all those who are in the team / call? However, in this case, everyone needs to log in to the tenant.

Or do you need a demonstration not of the desktop version, but of a mobile application?

Hi Aleksey, thanks for your reply. Certainly, your suggestion will be very useful for future initiatives.

For now, I need to do a demonstration via the mobile application to show the dashboard usability and user experience on a mobile device.
