SAP Analytics Cloud Import Error

Dear Community,

I have created an extensive model with 2 years data. To get a backup I have exported the model together with the story. This worked fine.

My problem is that I cannot import the model or only the data. The error is:

"One of the columns in the table in your system has been changed, so the model can't be updated. Try importing it again using the Drop Objects option."

The model wasn't changed and the Drop Objects option is not working as well. It might work if I delete the model first.

Are you importing back into the same tenant or a different tenant?

Is the tenant you are importing back into a test tenant or productive tenant?

Does the error occur if you only import the model without transaction data (as a test)?

It is possible that the error is misleading and the actual underlying cause is an out of memory condition when trying to create the new model.

is it possible that the datatypes of the columns are somehow not matching ? have you checked the data types?

Hi Anita,

first of all the export and import already worked back in November or so and I wanted to test it again. There was also no change in the model or data definition.
