SAP Analytics Cloud for planning - Disable planning on hierarchy nodes

Hi friends,

is it somehow possible to disable data entry on hierarchy nodes. Data Entry should only be possible on Leaves.

FYI Iam working with analytic applications.

Hi Ismail

Yes, you can use formatting rules to achieve that.

Besides the style you can also change the read-only properties based on a dimension selection.

You don't need the analytical application to do that, but it should work the same.

guenayEither use Table formatting as shown by Marcelo to make the parent node read only or You can set the Value lock for Parent nodes. Please refer to the help section below.

For high volume dimensions like cost center or profit center, the maintenance is not manageable without huge manual effort. This is a problem a lot of companies have
