SAP Analytics Cloud excel add-in with SAC trial account

I am trying to evaluate SAC and SAP analytics cloud add-in.

Will it possible to try out SAP Cloud Analytics add-in with SAC trial account. I have installed add-in , in log-on box in excel when I try to to insert the link which is SAC trial link nothing is happening. Its opening IE page and sits there and see blank IE explorer page.

Did anybody face issue?.If so how did you resolve the issue?.

Hello mvontikommu,

You can not connect Analytics Add-in to your trail SAC account. Excel add-in integration falls under enterprise connection. Enterprise connection is not allowed on trial account. There are limitations on what are allowed via trial setup. For instance -

1. You are restricted to use search to insight on provided content in your trial account. You can not create a new model and try this function on it.
2. Trial account can use data from local file imports (.csv, .xlsx) or by connecting to Google Drive.
3. Not allowed to install business content
4. Live data connectivity not allowed - Direct/ CORS/ tunnel/ Reverse proxy
5. Coloration not supported etc.
