SAP Analytics Cloud - current date in Model creation phase

Hi,

In model creation phase, need to have current date to calculate the Aging buckets.

Open_date has to be subtracted from the current date, to define the aging buckets.

In Story, date_diff is there to subtract from the current date to the time dimension(open_date), however need to do further calculation after then to count the number of records in each bucket. Aggregation is not happening correctly over there. So looking for current_date in the model creation phase.

Hi currently this is not available - you need to get this date from the source

@Rene, has the above mentioned improvement been applied into SAC? In my case, I would require the results of the DATEDIFF function using "CURRENT_DATE" to calculate buckets.

Hi paul.ngatia , were you able to model current_date? We need similar feature, and we do not see the possibility to have a variable to type date with default value current_date.
