SAP Alert Notification Service for SAP BTP Custom events

Dear all,

Do anyone know if it is possible to create custom events in SAP Alert Notification Service for SAP BTP? I can only find the built-in events. I want to get notified when my stock goes below our safety stock threshold from SAP S4/HANA Public Cloud. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

It provides a an example that uses the SAP Automation Pilot to query an SAP HANA Cloud table and then uses the SAP Alert Notification Service to send an email depending on the results of the query.
