SAP 4.3 SP05 Report fetches data of current system date instead of prompt date in first instance

We are using SAP 4.3 SP05 in our environment , so recently we moved from 4.3 SP03 to 4.3 SP05

And while in it we are facing 2 major abrupt issues.

1) First is as when we login in to BO/Webi and try to fetch the data with proper prompts the report gets fetched for the current system date instead of the prompt dates .On refreshing again the second time the report is fetching correctly as per the prompt. As this abrupt behaviour causes reporting incorrectness.

And this behaviour is for all reports existing and newly created reports also with different universe and free hand sql even for administrator user also , we tried recreating the universe , changing system date format , installing 4.3 SP05 hotfix , re-importing biar backup but no luck.

2) Also in the 4.3 SP05 package the filter drill function shows blank in the list even there is elements available , only column can be seen and not the column data in filter option.

Hi Jay, if you open the web intelligence document without refreshing, go into the query and view the SQL, what do you see in the WHERE clause for the prompts?. This does sound like an extreme issue. regards,James

Hi Jay, this looks like custom SQL prepared in Webi. Are all your reports prepared in this manner? If so, edit the SQL to remove the to_date coding and re-test? regards, James

Hey , No not all reports are configured in same manners , some are prohibited in date variable , while some doesn't have date filters.

Also i like to add there are multiple universes for different database connection also there different databases like Oracle , Sybase , MySQL

I don't know how to resolve this but moreover we are trying to re-install the application again and check

Hi , Yeah its not SP05 , but SAP 4.3 SP05 Patch 500 , It called Patch 05 here for an understanding

Also i like to add the same patch is installed on other node but there isn't any issue regarding the date fetch , there is any issue for the filter option , we are planning to deploy the latest patch SAP 4.3 SP04 Patch 600 or 700 or 800 the newer release

There is no SP05 in 4.3 !
What version are you on exactly ?
Have you checked the SAP-support-page for your problem, maybe this is already solved in later patchlevel ?

The where is clause has the date prompt , and the prompts are in webi only.

I don't think the issue is with universe as we tried the same with free hand sql connection and its the same result
