Hi,
SHD an SHQ were our development and quality systems, but now, we have a new system:
SDH (development system)
SQH (quality System)
So, when we created new role and a new profile is assigned automatically in old systems, this profile name was T-SDxxxxxx (DEV) and T-SQxxx (QAS) respectively.
Now, when we create new roles and profiles automatically in new systems, the profile name begins with same nomenclature T-SHxxxx and it is generating incidents.
Could you please help us with this issue?
Is these any OSS Note to apply? or could you tell us how change the beginning of the profile name T-YYxxxxx?
Request clarification before answering.
This behaviour can be changed by creating a new entry in table USR_CUST.
Parameter PRGN_PROF_PREFIX controls the naming convention of profiles generated by PFCG.
You can check SAP Note 0001380203 - FAQ | PFCG: Naming patterns for generated profile names.
This documentation has a full description of the scenarios and it's applications.
Be advised, that SAP always recommend using a single system in a landscape for User and Role maintenance to prevent this exact scenario from happening.
