SAC - Variance between different version and different time period

Hi team , 

 I need to find the variance between 2 versions with different time period - for eg variance between Forecast of current year and budget planned for next year . I did try with restricted measures and calculated measures but since the time period is different i am unable to achieve it. 

Assume when done with client calculations , it will have an impact when filters are changed . 

Can any one help with this scenario on how to do this

I assume restricted measure with combination of calculation measure should be enough. You can use navigation to next year with restricted measure on time dimension.
