SAC Total/Sum of story calculated measure incorrect

Hi All. 

I have a story calculated measure which references 3 story restricted measures.  Owing for the need to be dynamic according to user Input Control selections, these restricted measures are created in the story - and not the model.

When applying the "Show totals" setting on the dimension in the rows, the calculated measure is not aggregated, but rather the calculation/formula is also applied at the "Total" level.

For example, in the below table at the row level, "Calculated Trend" = Value MTD / Shift MTD x Shift Full Month.

I am wanting the "Calculated Trend" Total to be the sum of the row Calculated Trend values.

Expected behaviour:

But what is happening is the "Calculated Trend" formula is carried over to the "Total" row...

Current behaviour:

I have tried changing the "Intersecting Client Calculation Priority" but no change takes place.

I wanted to create an "Aggregation" calculated measure with the "SUM" exception aggregation type calculated measure are not available for use in Aggregation caclulations.

Any ideas on how to get the Totals row of a calcualted measure to "SUM"?

Are you not able to see the calculated measure you created, called ‘calculated trend’, inside the new aggregation-type calculated measure you defined? There shouldn’t be such a limitation — calculated measures should appear inside aggregation-type calculations. What is the connection type of your report?
