Hi Community,
I have a Model in SAC which has Read access for a number of users so it can be used in a shared Story. DAC is also applied in the Model for row-level security. Is there any way to prevent users from opening the Model in Modeler? In my testing to date they can see Dimension values that they do not have access to via the DAC. Hide Parents makes no difference as it is not a hierarchy. Would rather just stop them opening the Model in the first place.
Thanks 🙂

mark.judsonNot sure if you are using the standard roles/copy of standard roles. In case you are using the copy of standard roles (not adbvisale to edit the standard role) you can remove the dimension along with its permission from the role and the users assigned to this role will no longer see this dimension details. You can also create a blank role and include the dimension and permissions and assign this to user along with the previous role to enable them to see the details of this dimension.
Hope this helps.
