SAC Excel Add-In BEx Query as Data Source Not Found Error

Hi All, I am doing a PoC to convert BEx Analyser workbooks to SAC Excel Add-in workbooks. As part of that PoC, I am using tunnel live SAC connections in SAC excel add-in to directly connect to BEx queries. I managed to add a table successfully based on the BEx queries in my excel however after sometime, when I tried changing the variables, I started to get this error below.  BEx query name hidden for security purposes

I can still add a new table in a new tab based on the queries for which I get the error above. However as soon as I log out or close the excel, on reopening I get above errors. The Prompts field is also greyed out.

refresh only allows me to clear data

I have been told that nothing has been changed with my access and hence this issue is quite bizarre. Please let me know if anyone has faced this and how you resolved it.
