SAC Composite - Event Registration

Hi Experts,

Has anyone been able to define and fire an event in SAC Composite?

I am trying the steps provided in the documentation(https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_ANALYTICS_CLOUD/00f68c2e08b941f081002fd3691d86a7/acd8d68daae44f978b7f853348ebaeaf.html?locale=en-US), but getting an error while firing the event: "fireEvent" is not a function

It worked 2 weeks ago, then it broke. I logged an incident for it.. but no reply yet today.
The Functions had a similar problem 4 weeks ago.

Thanks for confirming Jef. Looks like SAP has released the feature without proper testing.

I can see another issue as well - if I add any new function or widget in the composite, it does not automatically appear in the dashboard design mode for use. Rather I have to remove the old composite and add a new in the canvas.

SAP support came back today that a fix is scheduled to deploy this weekend... so let's see on Monday.

Hey folks,

The " fireEvent() " function in composites is working as of now.

I tried using it and it is not throwing any errors as of now :
