Hi all,
we are utilizing SAC in combination with SAP BW 7.5-on-HANA live data and are having issues when too many queries are requested in paralell. Imagine the following:
The BW backend has 15 dialog processes and the number of paralell BW connections in SAC is set to 5. When multiple users execute reports at the same time and the dialog processes in the BW are depleted SAC returns empty charts or tables with the message: "Unable to retrieve data from the data source".
In the networking tab on the GetResponse request we can see error codes SY(530) and MC(601).
Is SAC not queing these requests automatically and is there anything that we can set up on the backend or inside SAC to make this more user friendly? Otherwise the only solution seems to be to set the number of parallel connections so low that this problem should never occur in the first place but that would have a big impact on the performance.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Fabian,
Would you be able to share screenshots of the errors in the network tab on the GetResponse requests?
Kind regards,
