Hi!
Do you know if we can take advantage of the business content built on S/4HANA to connect our SAC to the Simple Finance? Simple Finance is the first version of S/4HANA but only the finance module has been migrated, the other modules resides in ECC, it's like a hybrid system. Do you know if I can connect SAC to Simple Finance like it would be an S/4HANA? In SFin we have the ACDOCA table so I suppose we should be able to connect it to SAC as it would be an S/4 and take advantage of the business content. Am I wrong? Could you clarify if this is viable?
Thanks in advance.
regards
Cristina

Hi Cristina,
Even though concepts like ACDOCA already came with Simple Finance, not all the features/developments are available in Simple Finance like you would find them in S/4HANA, e.g. ODATA services. Hence, depending on required ODATA services used in the SAC content you can run it also with Simple Finance integration out-of-the-box or not.
Looking at SAC business content for financial planning with S/4HANA we recommend at least release S/4HANA OP1809 FPS2, better OP1909.
If this is not possible for whatever reasons the customer can build custom ODATA services, but also adapt the business content to close intermediate gaps.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards
Christoph
