S4H FLP - Spaces & Pages & Sections translation

Hi Experts.

I am trying to translate custom Spaces (tabs) and Sections in our new S4HANA 2020 - (onpremise) . But as per the documentation in SE63, I am not able to find Spaces and Pages and Sections configuraton.

Select Translation ABAP Objects Short Texts. Expand A5 User Interface Texts and select UISC or UIPC;

For cloud this blog is very nice but there is no blog for OnPremise translations.

Raised a message for UIPC and UISC. SAP updated to upgrade S4HANA from SP01 to SP03 and there is no alternative.

I am able to get alternative solution without doing translations using the SE63 and above steps for SP01.

Steps we did to translate are:

1. Login to FLP - required to have Manage Spaces and Manage Pages Tiles access.
2. Change the FLP language to French (in our case we need to translate)
3. Open the Space from Manage Spaces Tile
4. Go to General Tab
5. Update the French Text for the Space both Description and Title

All these translations are recorded in a TR and moved to other systems.

This works fine for us.

The steps for translating spaces and pages in SAP S/4HANA on-premise look like this:

If you then select either UIPC or UISC, you get to a screen where you can enter and edit your texts:

We are in S4HANA 2020 SP 01 - these options (UIPC and UISC) are not available in SE63 -> Short texts ->A5 User Interface Texts.

Without upgrading SP , is there any option /alternative to applying translations for Spaces, Pages and Sections in SP01?

Hi Sylvia,

Thank you for the steps. We have checked in the same location to find the both UIPC and UISC but they are not available in our S4HANA 2020 - do you think we need to apply any SAP note for this to get availble or activate anything?
