S4 security roles in SAC

Hi,

We are using a generic id in the Tunnel Live connection to S/4. But the requirement now is to implement S4 roles in SAC, so that any user with a company code access should see only that company code data in SAC.

How we can implement this requirement.

S4 live connection will only respect S4 security roles if the id is not generic as the roles defined in S4 are on individual user id and not generic id.

Hi Nikhil, I am using generic id for creating Tunnel live connection to S4.Now, if I am logging with my id, then will the S4 roles on my id will implement or S4 roles assigned to generic id will come into picture.

Hi @jain06 ,

You need to create teams, users and roles as per Company code requirement in Security.

Below is sample teams 

After create teams you need to assign this user to as per company code and teams

1.In model level you need to activate Data access control for Company code diamension.

2. After that 2 new column will add in your company code diamension like below Read and Write

3. After that as per your company code you have to assign teams in front of your company code.

You can give access as per your requirement for user or teams.
