S4 HANA BP field enhancement

I have added a custom tab in the BP screen with custom fields using the BDT technique, and it is appearing. However, when I enter data in the custom fields and click the Save button, the data is not getting saved at both the BP screen level and the table level. I am getting a message saying, 'No changes were made.Please help me

If the custom fields are visible but not saving, it's likely the BDT event handling or field group configuration is incomplete, and the system doesn't recognize the data as changed.
