S/4Hana test & demo cloud

Hi,

we are an SAP partner developing add-ons for the Sales and Service Cloud.

Recently, we have received requests for integration with S/4Hana. Therefore, we would like to purchase an S/4Hana cloud environment to test our developments. I am struggling now with what license/material to purchase for this. Was anybody in a similar situation?

Hi @JuliaDoxee ,

For partners, we only provide a single TDD system (D tenant) without a test tenant. You use that for scenario demo/configuration like a Starter System. So far, I haven't heard about a 3 system landscape (D, T and P tenants) provisioned for a partner. For the development extensibility (adding new codes to D-080 tenant), the code you developed on your TDD system can be deposited to the ABAP GitHub, then upload it to your customer's D tenant for further deployment and testing. 

Since you are doing an add-on to the Public Cloud, would it make more sense to do a side-by-side extensibility, i.e., developing your solution on a BTP platform? 

Either way, you need to ask for a Partner Manager to guide you through.

You can purchase a Test and Demo System. (I assume you meant SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition ? S/4HANA could be a bit vague if it is Private, etc. etc. which would be a different situation)

Your Partner Delivery Manager should be able to help you with that.

sorry, I meant public cloud. 

We do not have a Partner Deliver Manager assigned - at least I'm not aware of it. And the partner support redirected me to post the question on the Community board.

We do have the TDD Pay-as-you-go license, but I'm struggling to identify what exactly needs to be ordered to get also the S/4Hana Public Cloud test environment.

Hi Julia - without going too deep, I think it is a bit odd you have the license but not a contact to onboard you and your team, for example. If you could send me a private message and identify yourself and organization, I can see if there is some contact who could be helping you. Are you aware of these agreements? https://www.sap.com/about/trust-center/agreements.html#partner-customer-agreements I feel there should be something more formalized for you vs just sending you to the community.
