Hi,
Could someone tell me what data does RSA3 show ? Is it all the data from the very beginning, or only the set up data or the delta data ?
When I check via RSA3, I get data upto a certain date say 13.11.06 only. But the cube has upto date data. How is this explained ?

Hi Sheeja
Just go to the corresponding source system and check the avalability of the data then go to RSA3 and compare with that am not sure.Let me know

Hi Sheeja,
With RSA3 you can check the BW extractors in the sourcesystem. You can use it to see how data is structured in the extractor. If for instance you added a field to your extractor, you can check if it works before replicating and connecting to the target system.
What you see is depending on the kind of extractor. Basically it functions as a full load. RSA3 gives you the content of the set-up table. If you create an initialisation in the sourcesystem for logistic exctractors, then only the data in this setup table is displayed using RSA3. Delta records generated after the initialisation are not visible. This is the reason why RSA3 gives records until 13.11.06 (set-up table) and the cube is up to date with all delta records.
Hope this helps,

HI Sheeja,
RSA3 gets the data from the source system base tables. It may get all the data from the source system or if you need you can restrict using the selections like date or some custID and so on.
Hope this helps you.

Hi Sheeja
RSA3 holds only the data which is avilable in RSA7 .
Ofcourse if u have any selction fields then u can restrict according to them by
using DATES in RSA3itself.
Hope itz clear a little atleast..!
Thanks & Regards

HI,
RSA3 is the Extract Checker.
