RRI to R/3 (BW-Query jump to ABAP in R/3)

Hello,

I have created a BW-Query and in the rsbbs I have created a RRI to our R/3 system for a transaction.

When I jump from the query to the R/3 transaction, a new window opens in the webgui and I get the message: no authorisation for the transaction RSRR_WEB:

Question: why is the window opening in the web GUI? I expect a window to open in the SAP GUI.

We are now in BW4HANA. We had no problem with BW on HANA.

Hi,

I assume that in BW on HANA you were using BEx Analyzer. BEx Analyzer has a global setting ("Log On and Activate SAP GUI Connection" / SAP Note 2117824) to set the usage of the SAP GUI.

Reporting tools supporting by SAP BW/4HANA do not offer this setting and therefore the default (Web-GUI) is used.

Hello Eduard, We used "Analysis for Microsoft Office" with BW on HANA.
