Hi experts,
we are trying to implement a time series chart which does a comparision of the last 7 months including the py months values.
When the query is based on 0CALMONTH we do have the issue that the py-month and acutal-month are not grouped. So what we then see is in screenshot "based_CALMONTH"
When the query is based on 0CALMONTH2 we do have the issue that the sort of the chart is only done by the month number. Which is an issue when the year has changed. What we see then is in screenshot "based_CALMONTH2".
We created a virtual dimension and calculate within the endroutine a sorting number which works perfectly, but unfortunatly the sorting dimension must be shown in the chart to make the sorting work correclty. But we don't want this dimension to be displayed. We set the Member display in the initial view to no display and in the chart we used the "Dimension Label" setting from the initial view. But what we see then is in screenshot "based_SORTORDER".
Any ideas from you guys to solve our issue and make the chart look like it should?

Hi Tammy,
thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the linkes threads doesn't work for my scenario.
If i sort the dataset by 0CALMONTH i will loose the grouping of actual and previous year month, because i need to have the 0calmonth in the dataset and show it. But than i see 08.2016, 09.2016, 10.2016, 11.2016, 12.2016, 01.2017, 02.2017 (which represents the previous year values) and 08.2017, 09.2017, 10.2017, 11.2017, 12.2017, 01.2018 and 02.2018 (which represents the current year values). I need to have them group only by the month number information e.g.: 01.2017, 01.2018 and 02.2017, 02.2018 (like in the second screenshot)
But if i use 0CALMONTH2 i have the correct grouping, but it does the sort accoring the 0CALMONTH2 key. My requirement is to have the actual month at the right side grouped with the py-value. Like i do have it in the last screenshot.
That was done by a work around. Unfortunately i am not able to hide the text "Kein Wert vorhanden". The customer dos not want to see that.
Any more ideas?
