Hello,
When a model is checked in, the PowerDesigner sets a lock on the model in the repository. This lock is automatically removed again after the check-in.
However, it can also happen that there are technical problems and the lock is not removed. Other users are then unable to check in.
A user with read authorisation for the model wants to remove the lock. The user does not have write access to the repository folder.
What rights does this user need so that the user can remove a lock on a model that another user has set? How does he remove the lock?
Is the ‘Manage all documents’ right sufficient or does the user need more rights?
Thank you

Hello,
You can unlock it if you have the Full permission on a document locked by another user.
A confirmation message is displayed: "You are trying to unlock an object locked by someone else. Do you want to continue?"
The user who wants to unlock the model does not need any specific privilege, such as the 'Manage All Documents' privilege.
Kind regards
