RFC < = > PI < = > REST returns dump error: DOC_TYPE_UNKNOWN

I have an RFC on my local system which when executed triggers my RFC Sender Channel , I receive a message in the communication channel monitor for my Sender ‘DOC_TYPE_UNKOWN’, and dump error in ABAP program although the REST Receiver is triggered and appears to have worked i.e. it is green and i can the response in the payload.

Hi Ali,

When you consume the rest service, the response needs to be mapped/transformed back to RFC structure. So SAP can consume the response. Please verify the response and it is transformed to the RFC response structure.

i got it, i should add the mapping in the ICO manually.
