Hello Experts,
I'm working on a migration project from PO to CPI migration.
Most of our scenarios are proxy based. Currently the structure is created in PO and are imported in the S4 Sproxy.
We want to reuse the same proxy that was imported from PO for the CPI system as well.
My question is , in the future if the PO system gets decommissioned, Will we still be able to use the proxy present in S4? I understand if there are any enhancements required, it might need to recreate. But otherwise is it okay to reuse the same PO structure in S4 considering PO will be decommissioned in the future?
Any valuable inputs will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Priyanka

Hi Priyanka,
Yes, you can use the same proxy structure in S4 if PO gets decommissioned as long as no change is required in the existing structure.

Thanks Priyanka Ji for your kind response.
Hope even after PO is decommissioned, the existing S4 proxy structure (imported from PO ESR) will remain intact and wont have any issues (Until there is a change of structure required). Is my understanding correct? Could you kindly confirm please?
Priyanka.
Dear priyanka_ajn1992_90,
I can confirm that after the decommissioning the objects will still be available.

Hello Priyanka,
For the proxies best way is to follow mentioned approach while redesigning.
