Requirement to restrict Key Figure based on Cal Month

I have a requirement of showing data in particular Key Figure or Restricted Key Figure based on the Calendar Year/Month.

RKF1 and RKF2 have similar data and restriction , only difference is that for Calendar Year/Month till 12.2020 I need to show the data in RKF1 and from 01.2021 I need to show the data in RKF2.

It should not be the case that data is displayed in both as the finally I am adding both RKFs and it would be doubled in this case.

We have a Customer Exit variable on Calendar Year/Month which populates the month automatically in the Input Parameters and it is a range which is automatically available i.e. Start of year till current month.

Eg : if I give range from 01.2020 to 12.2020 or any individual month then RKF1 should show me the data and if from next month 01.2020 RKF2 should show me the data.

Restricting the RKFs based on Cal month will not help as I can restrict it based on = < <= >= or > and I cannot restrict it to 12.2020 or 01.2020 respectively and giving any other month by this way will not show me any data in either of the RKFs.

How can I restrict the data in respective RKFs as per requirement.

Hellovimarsh1987,

Question for your-

Restricting the RKFs based on Cal month will not help as I can restrict
it based on = < <= >= or > and I cannot restrict it to
12.2020 or 01.2020 respectively and giving any other month by this way
will not show me any data in either of the RKFs.

Is if because you do not see entry for 12.2020 or 01.2021 while creating restriction?

If that is the case, you can use constant manual entry in your query designer. It need not be present in master data. You can manually enter any value (future, past and present). You can find this option on the same restriction window.

Best of luck.

Thanks,

Vijayeta

Hello Vimarsh,

Your question is hard to understand, since there is no "How can I ..."

So I guess your solution is to use the operators <= and > etc.

Sorry for the Eclipse screenshot in German:
