Dear Sir:
I had installed the IDES mySAP ERP 2005, and willing to request a license key from the SAP web page,
but on the step 1 "Select Installation ", there is no ECC6 relative could be choose.
My question is if the installation should be registered by SAP? or should I do something else?
Sincerly need your help.
The information about installed machine is listed below:
Operating System: Windows Server 2003 with service pack 2
Database: Oracle 10g release 2
SAP product: IDES mySAP ERP 2005
Active Hardware Key is R0558308287
We also have an installed Solution Manager system for generating the install key.
Our company name is Everscience Information System Co.
Thanks and Best Regards
Dear All:
Thanks a lot for your kindly response, I have resolved my problem by selecting 2004 as the product for requesting license key.

Hello Frank,
The first thing to do is make sure that you have an installation number for an ECC 6 system. If you have an installation number for this already then you can request a license for this system under this instalation number on the sap service market place.
http:
service.sap.com\licensekey
However you have said that your previous system was IDES mySAP ERP 2005. If so it is unlikely that the installation number you have for this system is valid for the license for the new system. In this case you need to contact your local contracts department and request the appropriate installation number.
Once you have the installation number you can request the license at the site above. Requesting a license is a self service on the market place.
Regards,
David

Hi Ghag:
Thanks for your kindly response, but my question is that there is no "Installation" been created on the page for "mySAP ERP 2005" product, so even I logged in, I can not create a license key for "mySAP ERP 2005".
I used to deal with such problem when I installed a "Solution Manager" product, after I had contact SAP by phone, they created a "Solution Manager" "Installation" on the page, and then I could create new system and get a license key.
This time is the same situation, and SAP people want me to reguest help by mailing messages, so I am here and need your help, thanks a lot.
