Replace Standalone TREX

Hello Experts,

we have a question about the standalone TREX, which is running out of support in 2027.

We are using the KPro-API for Indexing (FM SDOK_PHIO_STORE_NEW_CONTENT) and Searching (FM SDOK_INDEX_COMBINED_SEARCH)

So, the SAP TREX Standalone is deeply embedded in the KPro layer of the SAP BASIS.

All what I have found as a result to a search is, to use the FileLoader of the Embedded search.
But that makes no sense, because there is no link between the KPro and the ESH in S/4HANA.

Here is the question: With what will SAP replace the Standalone TREX in the future?
Will there be an embedded Retrieval-Engine in S/4HANA?
