Remove Fiscal Year Variant shown in SAC with BW live connection

Hi All,

We are creating stories in SAC with BW live connection on BW/4HANA 2.0. I have a requirement to show only Fiscal year without the Fiscal Year Variant as a prefix. I tried to manage that in BW query by doing a No Display on Fiscal Year Variant. The Fiscal year is showing as 2019 instead of K4/2019 in BW Query.

When I create a model on the same query and consume in SAC. I am still getting K4/2019 on the SAC side. Is there is any trick to show only Fiscal Year without the prefix of Fiscal Year variant?

Looks like a limitation with BW live connection.

from Q3.2022 the display without compounding keys (like fiscal variant) will be supported in SAC

Hello Reddy,

Try using Analytics Designer and update the remove the Fiscal Year Variant from Fiscal Year in the onInitialization section.

Try to create a global filter in query with "Fiscal year" = K4
