hey hey hey,.. pls. dont disturb.. let it run....it will definitely take more time , ... not just 20 mins.

There are loads that can go for hours,... since this has more number of records,... you should wait ok?

Thanks,

Hi Rizwan

It's not unusaul that load of 1 million records is running for 20 mins. Be patient on this.

You should always carry these data loads in background mode . GO to Infopackage change mode->Schedule tab ->Select option button "Start later in background" and in next screen schedule it immediately. This will ensure that your job will not be timedout. Using other option the data loading job runs in dialogue mode and it can timed out.

You can monitor the time taken for data loading in RSA1-> Monitor for that infosource. Here in monitor screen go to header screen and you can find time in Runtime.

While loading to Cube, delete the indexes before loading a new request. This way you can reduce the data load time.
