Hi,
When we refreshing database on destination system, is possible to specify a specific point-in-time. For example, we want refresh destination system with the backup of may 8th 2023 and apply the logs until "2023-05-08 11:00AM".
If yes, how we can integrate this option in provisioning processes ?
Thank you for the answer,
Ben

Hi Ben.
The short answer to your question, "is it possible", is yes.
The short answer to, "can we integrate this option in provisioning processes", is also yes.
As luck would have it, I just posted a blog about it here.
To elaborate, a point-in-time restore/recovery is not one of the activities delivered out of the box. In the delivered functionality, the way to achieve point-in-time consistency is to schedule the backup or snapshot of the source system to execute a the required time on the Consistency step of the refresh roadmap.
In reality, most system refreshes involve restoring an existing backup to a point in time, rather than triggering an additional backup only for the system refresh, so that's what compelled me to write about the scenario.
Best of luck with your automation endeavors. If you would like help, please reach out to your EA or TQM if you have a TQM.
Best regards,
Abe
