Records Management Customizing in SLCM

Hello,

hopefully someone will read and answer...

I'm trying to customize RM for SLCM and...here it comes: when I am trying to add an Element type, gives me an error and says the following "Element Types are invalid".

I already activated RM in SLCM, but I would like to know what are the next steps and how should I customize the system. I know where to find the steps, but it's not clear enough what and how should I customize and from where I took the info. For the beginning, I just want to use the standard functionalities.

Is there a Step-by-Step guide somewhere ?

I need to find out asap how should I customize a record for a student.

When answering, please take in consideration that I have no experience...I mean, not at all.

Hi, Roland.

Could You please specify SAP system version (ERP6.0, S/4 HANA 1709 / 1610 / 1511) and RMS ID which You are using?

This info should help to check what settings are missing. And "yes", SAP doesn't provide all of the demo RM scenarios fully operational.

So, I am using SAP NetWeaver 7.5 03/2018 and EHP8 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 10 (04/2018)

I am trying to Customize the RMS ID S_RMS_HER_ST (Campus Management).

Dor eg. I don't even have the option to add documents, the folder is not available, like for other RMS ID's. Can I add it somehow or should I use another RMS ID ? - I have to integrate it with Student Lifecycle Management.
