Receive an full log on xp_sendmail in SQL Anywhere 17

Hello,

with several mailservers we run into problems sending an email. Sometimes it is not acceppted by the mailserver (mostly caused by mailservers SSL/TLS settings) , sometimes it is, but is malformed at recepient (especially when having attachment(s)).

Is there a way to receive the full log of xp_sendmails communication and not just the returns xp_get_mail_error_code() and xp_get_mail_error_text(), which do not help at all with the malforming issue?
We already did a lot of trial and error, but without deeper knowledge which parameter causes what within the mail process, we are stuck.

The only logging is limited to the SQL Anywhere MAIL API methods. You should be able to gather more detail with a Wireshark (or similar) trace or logging in the email system itself, assuming that traffic reaches it..
