の必要性RDARCH_ARCHIVE_DATA_SOLMAN
SOLMAN_EWA_ADMINで保持期間に設定されているものについて、保持期間が過ぎたものは自動でアーカイブされるとのことですが、レポート"RDARCH_ARCHIVE_DATA_SOLMAN"は特に利用する必要はないのでしょうか？
自動アーカイブとの違いがイマイチ理解できていないので教えて頂けると幸いです。

SOLMAN_EWA_ADMINの保持期間を設定すれば、保持期間が過ぎたセッションは「Closed」になります。
RDARCH_ARCHIVE_DATA_SOLMANはアーカイブを処理するレポートです。
RDARCH_ARCHIVE_DATA_SOLMANを使用し、その中の一つのオプション「Only From Repository」を使用する場合、全て「Closed」セッションを対象にします。
「Closed」セッションはSOLMAN_EWA_ADMINの保持期間の設定によります。

＝＞If you need to keep available your EWAs for a certain time, set up their retention time by transaction SOLMAN_EWA_ADMIN. Be aware that retention time equal zero means that EWAs will always be available in your Solution Manager system and will never be closed.
Schedule weekly job SM:ARCHIVE SESSIONS AND DOCS, which runs report RDARCH_ARCHIVE_DATA_SOLMAN. If it runs with default parameters, such a report archives all the closed sessions, laying on the archive queue (done by option "Only From Repository"), older than 90 days, and their documents 

Option to run RDARCH_ARCHIVE_DATA_SOLMAN: 
Only From Repository - "Repository" indicates the archive queue in which closed sessions can be retrieved. As consequence, this option processes only the closed sessions. For this option the parameter "Days" is influent as the session closure depends on the "Retention Time" set by both transaction SOLMAN_EWA_ADMIN
