RAP validation works in Preview but not in Fiori Elements List Report

Hello,

Newbie in RAP. I have created a demo app in a sandbox environment.

There is a very basic validation implemented where a field (Office Space) must start with "FL". This works perfectly well when using the "Preview" functionality from Eclipse. The error message appears and the field is highlighted.

However, after creating a List Report with the standard template from Visual Studio Code, only the generic error appears, not the one related to the field.

To be noted that if I remove the %state_area value, the error appears in a popup but the field is still not highlighted.

Without %state_area:

So maybe I misuse the %state_area? I have just used a dummy text "OFFICE_SPACE". Should the values for this field be predefined somewhere?
