Query in Tool Bar Area Searching option.

Hi All,

There is a tool bar Searching iView with us.But when any user searches through it, the search option is working fine.But the results shows files with open folder and details option (as we do not want some user go inside details option and change the permissions settings of that file).Can anyone tell me how can we remove open folder and details options??

Hi,

The UI Command Group resposible to show Open Folder, See Also and Details Commands is SearchSingleItemGroup.

So open it and remove the browse_from_here and SingleDetailsGroup(expanded) UICommands.

choose System Administration --> System Configiuration --> KM --> Content Management --> User Interface --> Commands --> UI Command Group.

Hi Praveen,

I already got to know bout it.

But I wanted to know that which iView's layout set shall I check and make the new settings.Which iView is called once search is pressed in tool bar area iView.So that I can check the iView's layout set and then change the resource renderer settings.

Hi,

The PCD Path of Search Iview is:

pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/eu_role/com.sap.km.home_ws/com.sap.km.hidden/com.sap.km.urlaccess/com.sap.km.basicsearch

The layoutset is <b>SearchResultLayoutSet</b>. So goto SearchResourceRenderer and it is the Resource Command Group which you should change.

It should be part of the Default framework page-> Search Iview.

If you are using it in the masthead.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies.

But in the meant time, Iwas able to solve the problem.

But in the search page I am getting 1-10 more as link...

Instead of that I want 1-10 / 11-20/---of 50....

Something like this....Its showing the way I want in layout set preview...

But when I am using that layout set in my iView, it reverts to 1-10 More....

So cant judge the problem....
