Queries on CLT: Myanmar - GL settings

Hello,

Regarding CLT and rollout to Myanmar - GL settings:

1. As Germany will be the source country for Myanmar, and DEAP is the local ledger for Germany, is it necessary to assign DEAP against the Myanmar company code ? , or will the local ledger for Myanmar be available?

2. When should Germany be activated? Should Germany be activated from the start even if the first rollout outs are for standard Asian localized countries? Or should Germany be activated only when the rollout to Myanmar happens?

Hi Duarte,

Answer to 2nd question:

If your question about Germany's activation pertains to whether it is necessary or a prerequisite for Myanmar's activation in the system, the answer is NO. Germany can be activated in the system independently of Myanmar's activation or rollout, based on the business needs.

You can not define your own accounting principle. Please check help document link Assign Accounting Principles to Ledgers and Company Codes | SAP Help Portal

But you can assign any accounting principles that are in scope in the corresponding system.
