Quality system | SU25 - Initially fill the Customer Table

Dear Team,

In our Quality system, we have implemented Fiori and we need to execute 'Initially fill the Customer Tables' in SU25 tcode as part rapid activation --> Is that mandatory to open the client to execute this as part rapid activation or we can make it through TR movement?

Dear Basis team,

as documented, the standard approach for Rapid activation is to perform the tasks in DEV and then transport the settings to QAS/PRD.

If you are using a different approach and perform changes directly in QAS, you are responsible to set the system and client change settings accordingly.


Also for SU25 the same recommendation exists, to perform all settings in DEV and then transport to QAS for testing and later, after tests have been finished successfully transport the final settings to PRD.

If you decide, to have different SU25 data in your systems within the same transport landscape, this is your decision and will require future attention for all upcoming changes regarding authorization maintenance tasks.

Therefore please discuss the best approach for your scenario with your consultant, to find the best way for your specific requirements.

Technically your plan is possible, but bears some risks, which you need to pay attention to.
