Quality certificates issue with printing for different form templates

In output management two different CoA form templates were created and the changes were connected in CBC to appropriate output type.

In output parameter determination app on determination step for form template, the same change was made – forms were linked to Quality certificate output type. The changes were properly checked and activated.

During the creation of CoA in app Manage Quality Certificates for inspection lots there is no possibility to choose which form I print at the moment, system always choose the same form.

Please could anyone help if there is some step I have predicted or confirm if there is no possibility in system to carry the mentioned action.

Thanks!

Anita

Hi Anita,

The Manage Quality Certificates for Inspection Lots app doesn't support you to select the form template manually. It will only select the form template based on the rule you maintained in the output parameter determination app. So you should maintain the rule accordingly.

Matt

Hi Matt_sui, I have linked both form templates to its appropriate Output type in Output determination app, meaning both templates were linked to same output type. I don’t know if it’s allowed, but logic tells me it is, otherwise I don't see another way to use two different forms.

Hi Anita,

I don't know how you maintain the rules. Basically, you should not assign 2 form templates to the exactly same conditions.
Maybe you can check whether the following blog is feasible in your scenario?
How to generate multiple output items for production orders with different form templates
