Purpose of enforce_ssl_database_replication?

Hi ,

Does any know what is the purpose below parameter --

enforce_ssl_database_replication

Its set to true by default on our hana systems.

By the name it sounds like it makes sure to allow only SSL based replication (DR Scenarios). I couldn't find any sap documentation.

Please share if any know about this.
